Autodesk Revit is is an open-source program primarily used by architects and engineers. It is intended to aid in the conceptualisation, construction and completion of large building projects through three-dimensional rendering. This platform employs a system known as Building Information Modelling (BIM) to achieve accurate results that can then be implemented into a real-world scenario.
Autodesk Revit is a great collaboration tool when numerous individuals are involved with a single task. Examples here can include engineers, architects and even interior designers. This is generally achieved through the use of literally 'constructing' a project with the use of discrete 3D shapes. One of the reasons that this system is very popular revolves around its modularity and an ability to be shared across multiple device.

There is also an add-on that gives users the ability to view structures from a panoramic standpoint and to even 'fly through' buildings and enjoy a different perspective.
